There is nothing better than getting a compliment on how delicious these brownies are, then watching the disbelief when you tell people they were made with black beans....Trust me, no one will be able to tell the difference!

Ingredients
:

  • 1 can black beans (drained and rinsed well)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder- dutch or regular
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • *1/3 cup pure maple syrup, honey, or agave
  • *2 tbsp brown sugar or stevia
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup to 2/3 cup chocolate chips

*Feel free to play around with different sweeteners and add more or less to obtain desired sweetness

Directions:
  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Combine all ingredients except chips in a food processor (or magic bullet, or blender), and blend until completely smooth (the smoother the better!).
  • Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness to your liking.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips, then pour into a greased pan (use coconut oil to grease).
  • Bake for 15-18 minutes, then let cool for a few minutes before trying to cut.
  • Enjoy!
