Comprehensive Thyroid Testing
The thyroid gland helps control our normal metabolism by releasing thyroid hormones. Problems can arise when the thyroid is under functioning (hypothyroidism) or over functioning (hyperthyroidism).
Most conventional labs only test for TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone). However, it is possible to have 'normal' (i.e. within range) levels of TSH, but still be experiencing symptoms of low thyroid (termed 'sub-clinical hypothyroidism').
In order to undercover possible thyroid dysfunction, it is important to run a FULL THYROID PANEL:
The results of this thyroid panel will be taken into account along with HOW YOU FEEL in order to provide the most appropriate treatment, that is personalized for you.
